I too, have become obsessed with reading everyones blogs. So, its only fair I have one too, since I am so sad when everyone doesn't update daily. I have about 10 that I check at least twice a day if I am home.
Well, I grew a great zit in my nose last night while sleeping and have been thinking about it all day and not mentioned it once. Right inside the nostril, it hurts and I think everyone is looking at it. Good thing I have mostly just seen Jimmy and Shirley today. I did talk to the kids pricipal, and I almost said somthing to him about it. He already knows I am wierd, I spent a lot of time at the school this last year. At least 3 times a week.
I think I have the greatest family/cousins ever. You guys are so funny and real, I love it. I have had a peek into other peoples family, and they all envy mine. Not to nosy, but still caring.
Last weekend we went to Vernal/Flaming Gorge/Green River, camping, river rafting, fishing. Man that is a lot of stuff to pack for 3 kids, plus we took some of Jimmy and Shirley's stuff since with thier 4 kids in thier minivan there was room for a sroller in back and that is it. We barley fit it stacked like tetris in the back of Troys truck. We didn't get to the camp site till after 2 am. Why? Like you need to ask. Troy had the day off so he got done working at 10 pm on emergency programing. You know its life and death if those people don't have thier TV working perfect for the weekend. The house it was for was in connicut, so he started at 5 am that moring our time and it was midnight thier time when it was done. Doesn't everyone let workers in thier house till midnight on a weekend? I am just suprised they didn't put Troy on plane out there last min.
This is getting to be way to long. I will tell you what happened on the river in the rafts. We had 2, 8 man rafts, my parents, Jimmy, Shirley, Elizabeth and Skye, and baby Emmalee got a head of the one with Troy, Richie, AJ, Ty, Sterling and Will, and me. We were about 2 and a half hours through the 4 hour streach in the lowest grade rapids when through a pretty big strach of rapids (we didn't have to row) when the front boat went sideways and stopped suddenly on a rock. It threw out Skye even though she was in the middle in the back, my dad saw and kinda flew out himself. Skye said she was never in the water without grandpa holding her. Grandps lost his hat and glasses, they also lost an oar and a fishing net. grandpa said his life jacket was a little big and was sliding up so Skye kept him floating because hers fit her and had that underleg strap. Jimmy hurry and rowed to the side and jumped out holding the rope to the boat, but Skye and Grandpa were in the middleabout 100 yards away. Grandpas legs got pretty beat up from the rocks. We saw the oar stuck by the rock that knocked them over so we quickly rowed to the side and richis pulled us up the bank and he and troy both jumped out. Troy ran toward the oar, Rich ran toward the other boat to see if they need help. Jimmy and my dad got Skye in the boat pretty easy, but they had to wait till the patch of rapids were over and back to the side for them to get in. The water was about 40 degrees, skye was purpleand shaking. Elizabeth put a blanket around her and held her tight the rest of the trip. When Skye and grandpa were in the water grandpa kept talking to skye kidding around so she wouldn't be scared. SKye told grandpa she loved him. When they were all finally back in gthe boat Skye also told grandpa thank you for helping her. It sure makes me more thankful for the great family I have and that we are all fine. We definatly made some memories! I took lots of pics of the trip, but all on Richies waterproof, unbreakable camera. I will post some when he comes a week from sunday.
