He does exist!

My favorite new little family does exist! I got the pictures off the camera myself, it is an hour and a half later but walla! Here they are before halloween. (They still are here now too, I just don't have the pics to prove it yet...) Aaron is 4 months old already! He is big, but the best baby ever. He sleeps 12 hours most nights, wakes up happy, doesn't have to eat right away. He doesn't even really cry when he is hungry, just gets uncomfortable every 4 hours to remind us. He smiles and laughs a lot. All my kids love having him around. Kelsie at the top of the list. I had strep throat this week so it worked out that I didn't watch him at all and Ash had to find someone for only 1 day, and took him to work for the sat. half day. Kelsie missed him so much, she was begging Ash to stay after church today. That's after her and Skye each holding 4 of 5 times each during sacrament. We sure are happy he came into our lives. Although Kelsie has never met Taki, her other new cousin, she carries this photo album we have of AJ as tiny, and turns to a page of Uncle Jason holding AJ without a shirt on and tells people "my best friend Taki." It is cute.

Kelsie turned 3 last month and is crazy girly as ever. She got her own doll, stroller, swing ,playpen set, with a diaper bag. Her uncle Keith (who is also the father of "best friend Taki" born 1 day after Aaron) and Aunt Erika sent her a card she carries in the diaper bag and 5 dollars that was just enough to buy a car seat for her doll at family dollar. Guess what goes with us everywhere? Here is Kels with her best friend Lexi (she has a few best friends) on her birthday at the story time at the Library. We did the Chuck-E-Cheese thing for her birthday, and it was packed, even on a wensday night. She had a great time though.

AJ was in a christmas musical this last week. We tried out and made it on his own. He went to "rehersal" not practice mom, many early mornings. He was a chimney Sweep, the smallest and the best I must add. He took it very seriously and was great, he had 3 or 4 lines and they did a "rap". OK, it is now a good 2 hours from when I started. This is kind of frusterating, the whole picture thing. I will post and not mention how long its been. But I did mop the litchen floor, and wash my sheets and blankets which are always at the bottom of the to do list in my head. Clean microwave not done, but blog, check! Till next time, I will try to be sooner then later!

Ok, Ok Ok

So, I read blogs everyday, mostly with no comment because half the time it won't let me, and I am one of the slowest new posts. I am bad I know. Life has been busy, but honestly not that busy. I have been at the school quite a bit, but not more then 3 days a week ever. I am watching my cute nephew now, this was my 3rd week, but really, he sleeps at least 3 hours, and I have time until 6, and I get my full night of sleep. he is great in the hot sling, he once staid in from 9-12:30 when I was at the school one day. Ash got her monies worth out of that diaper, let me tell ya. He smiles a lot now, you know that turns everybody day around. Everyone at the school loves him, and Kels cries when it is time for him to go. He has been to Lagoon with us, Hill Air force museum, and today will be the lucky kids first time with Chuck-e-cheese. Will is potty trained, and Sterling is moving with his mom to Illinois tomorrow. I don't really like to talk about that though. We are all heart-broken. He will be back for thanksgiving. Heidi's boyfriend got transferred, she is preg with his boy. They went and registered as common-law at the court house, I don't know the difference between that and actually going there to just get married, but hey, its not me. OK, I really should get dressed and all that since it is 10 am now. I will post pics later.

who knew

Who knew life could change so quickly, I feel so different since my last post. Ashley and i have a baby! Well, Frank too I guess. Two days after my last post, the little guy came into our lives. I was at Ashley's at midnight, soon after they walked into their house from signing the adoption papers. i staied till about 2, long enough to bring in the few little boxes of clothes and blankets I could gather that day, and help set up the bassinet, and feed him. My mind is on him all the time. He has been to the doctor 3 times, I went 2 of the times. We got circumcised, and medicine for his yeast infection. He is growing quickly! Already 22 inches long! Newborn stuff has already had to be taken away. I don't have any pictures, i made ash take it with her, since she doesn't have a digital camera yet, I promise I will borrow it back one day and post pictures of the center of the world! Until then you will have to check Ashley's blog, there is a link off this page. I am having a shower for her on Saturday at noon at my house, please come if you want! Ash's family is my family, and I invited people from my ward, they know her much more then hers. Kels used to be the center, and now she is definitely perfecting the tizzy fit! Who cares, she needs to be not carried everywhere, We have a baby! I love you baby Aaron Wyland Boehm!

FREEDOM!!! kinda

OK, OK, I have no excuse not to update. I keep thinking nothing really interesting in our lives, same old Lagoon, swimming, breakfast, lunch, dinner, Ya, ya, I know that's what everyone is dying to read about. Today the kids started school!!! They rode their bikes on their own, left by 8:05. By 9:30 I thought is should be noon. Kels and I and Kitten, just dawdling getting dressed eating breakfast....uhh what do we do now? We got a kitten this last week. Thank you Brooke! She is a little on the smothering side, she loves to snuggle on your neck ,shoulder, chest, right by your head when your on the couch. If you get up she will follow you, watch the feet! (kels did get her once, but Maybelle slapped her foot) We have a pet carrier with a soft pillow in it, and she sleeps in there, she goes on her own, we actually just went looking and found her in there. What a good cat, i have never met one like her and she has even won over Troy. I haven't had to clean up and accidents, she has gone in the litter box, and Skye cleans it about 5 times a day. We have continued with the no TV Tues and Thurs, although AJ has tried and tried to change it. I did let him watch that Hannah Montana 3D after he read a his level chapter book, cover to cover. You can tell who is happy to start school, and who is too cool for school. Skye has a cute new haircut for 2ND grade, Thanks Amber! She is amazed how it looks so shiny when it is clean. (hard time in the summer convincing her to use shampoo and conditioner.) Yeah, Aj just made himself an egg roll for a snack, and i didn't have to do a thing! Just wait Kara, it will happen fast, school on their own, food up high on their own, this is the life! We won't mention the arguing and teasing. With all my new time, I will hopefully think of fun things to talk about like Kristen. Oh, by the way, I made the costumes out of felt and gluegun in about an hour, I will see what I have of them, or i can help you make your own you can keep forever and ever. They were not perfect by any means, I just guessed on all the cutting. We could do it this year if you want, tiny Mimi.

Ok, I got Tagged

Just beacause I love Sophie. This feels kinda like high school, when people made me write notes to them, I feel that obligation now.

3 Joys

Hey that counts! Its a lot of work, and fun, but after those pregnancies, I can use to answer any questions I want!

3 Fears

1. Troy refuses to wear his seat belt, 10 year fight. I know I will get a phone call. He drives a lot.

2. After forgetting/sleeping through a time when you were supposed to pick up your kid, that fear never leaves you.

3. Another positive pregnancy test. Hey, its the truth.

3 Goals (short term)

1. Keep my kids alive another day, week, month, and hopefully summer.

2. Have a half clean house, but also fun memories for kids.

3. OK, i have 4-5 loads of clean clothes on the air hockey table, I want that done. (hey, i did the dishes and vacuumed today, and they are clean!)

3 Goals (long term)

1. not live paycheck to paycheck.

2. payback Ashley and Frank for the love and help they have given me for all these years.

3. not move for at least 4 years.

3 obsessions

1. not being able to put down a book.

2.these dang blogs. still checking them twice a day if I am home.

3. Pepsi, my weakness. it could be worse, it could be something illegal.

So, Richie came from vernal with a boat a guy at work wants him to buy. Troy somehow got out of work at noon on monday, so we took it up to pineview. Sterling didn't come this time. Richie wanted troy's opinion about the boat. It holds 7 people. It is kinda like a nice jet ski. AJ got pulled in the tube, and the girls just enjoyed sitting in the bow of the boat and Richie and Troy took turns pullin each other on tubes trying to break the others spine, or kill them, or throw them sky high, whichever comes first.

I guess because of the lack of children on the boat, Weber County Sheriff had to come talk to us while we were just anchored and fishing. They had to call the owner, Richie had to call him to find out about insurance. They just gave an insurance ticket, and were really nice. when Skye said she was ready to try the tube, the boat wouldn't start. Rich and Troy tried and tried, used a battery charger took stuff apart, yeah we were stuck. Luckily the police guy had left a message with his phone number to that owner of the boat, the owner was at work, but oil rig was broke, so he was able to give us that number and we called the nice cops back up and told them we were stuck. It took a while, but they came back to us, and towed us very slowly back to our ramp. with the lights flashing. The girls loved it, just their pace.

We have season passes to Lagoon, so we decided to go on Tuesday with Richie here, since Jimmy and Shirley missed out on our broken boat trip. OK so i really just wanted to post that pic of Kelsie and Will, since I just learned how to post pics and it jumped up there by AJ. oh well. The kids are always ready for a Lagoon trip, as we were leaving at 9:30 at night, AJ was asking if we could come back the next day. Let me know when anyone wants to go, the older kids ride the crazy big rides while Kels really loves the kitty on the carousel. AJ and Skye, not so patient.

snow cones and death

I so was going to write about how i figured out I can make shaved ice with my kitchen aid slicer shredder attachment. How the kids Elizabeth and Tyler included took it around and sold it and each made 2 dollars. I checked my e-mail, and a girl I knew in high school died. She graduated with me. I know I had classes with her, I remember laughing and having fun with her. She was hit in her car by a train, her 10 year-old son with her. He died too. She had a baby girl, husband and at least 1 other kid. That really hits home. Who cares about making snow cones and swimming at Lagoon tomorrow? What was she thinking about before she was hit?

No TV Tuesday

So, after a day yesterday when the TV was no off 5 min. while we were home, and we were home all day, I decided we could/should do without. So when the kids woke up I said, Tuesday and Thursdays, are no TV days. They groaned a little, but accepted it. Both older kids are reading chapter books (AJ really likes the k-2 books I have sponge bob and blue lagoon) when I just said something to them, they both just held up a finger. Pretty amazing if i do say so myself! We did fill our time with the girls helping me cook, and playing chutes and ladders. I may have to mention, no TV doesn't mean no video games for AJ or computer, but surprisingly enough, not even 20 min. on either. Kelsie did watch some of the Bee movie on the computer while the older kids were at kids club from 10-12. I have to admit quite a bit of arguing, but more smiles also. I challenge anyone who dares!!!

Wall-E, Don't do it!

We went and saw the new movie for Tyler's 8th birthday today. awwww ewwww. Waste of time. Unless of course you like no talking and just robot sound effects. The story line in that people on earth used so much and made so much trash, they sent all the people on a 5 year cruise into outer space so wall-e robots could compact the trash into squares and stack it. well, it didn't work so the humans ended up on the luxury ship for 700 years. Everyone was really fat and robots and machines did everything for them. Nice conversation with kids to point out what would happen if they didn't exercise, but that's it. Nobody talks for the first half of the movie. I say maybe a redbox rental, just to say you saw it. So not worth any more then that.

Well, Ok I will Blog

I too, have become obsessed with reading everyones blogs. So, its only fair I have one too, since I am so sad when everyone doesn't update daily. I have about 10 that I check at least twice a day if I am home.

Well, I grew a great zit in my nose last night while sleeping and have been thinking about it all day and not mentioned it once. Right inside the nostril, it hurts and I think everyone is looking at it. Good thing I have mostly just seen Jimmy and Shirley today. I did talk to the kids pricipal, and I almost said somthing to him about it. He already knows I am wierd, I spent a lot of time at the school this last year. At least 3 times a week.

I think I have the greatest family/cousins ever. You guys are so funny and real, I love it. I have had a peek into other peoples family, and they all envy mine. Not to nosy, but still caring.

Last weekend we went to Vernal/Flaming Gorge/Green River, camping, river rafting, fishing. Man that is a lot of stuff to pack for 3 kids, plus we took some of Jimmy and Shirley's stuff since with thier 4 kids in thier minivan there was room for a sroller in back and that is it. We barley fit it stacked like tetris in the back of Troys truck. We didn't get to the camp site till after 2 am. Why? Like you need to ask. Troy had the day off so he got done working at 10 pm on emergency programing. You know its life and death if those people don't have thier TV working perfect for the weekend. The house it was for was in connicut, so he started at 5 am that moring our time and it was midnight thier time when it was done. Doesn't everyone let workers in thier house till midnight on a weekend? I am just suprised they didn't put Troy on plane out there last min.

This is getting to be way to long. I will tell you what happened on the river in the rafts. We had 2, 8 man rafts, my parents, Jimmy, Shirley, Elizabeth and Skye, and baby Emmalee got a head of the one with Troy, Richie, AJ, Ty, Sterling and Will, and me. We were about 2 and a half hours through the 4 hour streach in the lowest grade rapids when through a pretty big strach of rapids (we didn't have to row) when the front boat went sideways and stopped suddenly on a rock. It threw out Skye even though she was in the middle in the back, my dad saw and kinda flew out himself. Skye said she was never in the water without grandpa holding her. Grandps lost his hat and glasses, they also lost an oar and a fishing net. grandpa said his life jacket was a little big and was sliding up so Skye kept him floating because hers fit her and had that underleg strap. Jimmy hurry and rowed to the side and jumped out holding the rope to the boat, but Skye and Grandpa were in the middleabout 100 yards away. Grandpas legs got pretty beat up from the rocks. We saw the oar stuck by the rock that knocked them over so we quickly rowed to the side and richis pulled us up the bank and he and troy both jumped out. Troy ran toward the oar, Rich ran toward the other boat to see if they need help. Jimmy and my dad got Skye in the boat pretty easy, but they had to wait till the patch of rapids were over and back to the side for them to get in. The water was about 40 degrees, skye was purpleand shaking. Elizabeth put a blanket around her and held her tight the rest of the trip. When Skye and grandpa were in the water grandpa kept talking to skye kidding around so she wouldn't be scared. SKye told grandpa she loved him. When they were all finally back in gthe boat Skye also told grandpa thank you for helping her. It sure makes me more thankful for the great family I have and that we are all fine. We definatly made some memories! I took lots of pics of the trip, but all on Richies waterproof, unbreakable camera. I will post some when he comes a week from sunday.
